MAC 31F, T, TF

Fortress models for use in the Maginot line. Mainly used side-by-side in heavy mounts with gun shield. The F model is used in casemate mounts (French: Forteresse). The T models are for used in turrets (French: Tourelle).

MAC 31C

Vehicle model with a long barrel used in World War 2 era tanks and armoured cars. Fed by a drum magazine from either the right or left.

MAC 31E

Vehicle model with a short barrel used in early Cold War era vehicles. Fed by a drum magazine from either the right or left.

MAC 31A1

Infantry model, used in the heavy role in the defense. Used on either a MAS mle 1945 tripod or modified US M2 tripod. Features a shoulder stock, tangent rear sight on the receiver and a front sight post on the barrel. Introduced in 1945 or shortly thereafter.

MAC 31A2

Infantry model, used in the light role and the assault. Fed by a 35 round box magazine. Used on a modified M2 tripod. Features an optional shoulder stock, a tangent rear sight on the receiver and a front sight post on the barrel. Introduced in 1948 and was limited use only.
